A French Cheese Festival Is Coming To Sydney

Life doesn’t get much cheddar during winter in Sydney when you learn that a ginormous French cheese festival is heading our way.
That’s right - Sydney is hosting the infamous ‘Bon Fromage,’ a colossal & JUMBO cheese fest, which will become home to tonnes upon tonnes of delicious dairy morsels.
*Heavy Breathing*
Sure, Australia does things well, but it is no secret that the creme de la creme of cheese comes from France. Lucky for Sydneysiders, Bon Fromage is the engineer behind the big guns of the cheese industry… The celebrated Centre National Interprofessionel de l’Economie Laitière, and the European Union.
Did I mention the festival is FREE?!
My jeans are ready to be unbuttoned.
This joyous celebration of lactose will take place at the Cargo Hall of the Overseas Passenger Terminal from the 3rd of June to the 5th of June, coinciding with the Sydney VIVID Festival. The centrepiece of the festival has been disclosed as a humongous French cheese buffet, to be generously stocked up throughout the course of the event.
Inside sources have said that over 80 kilos of cheese is being handed out to visitors every two hours at tastings. This doesn’t include the monstrous buffet we mentioned… That of which will include Langres, Pont L’Évêque, Comté, Cantal, Brie, Camembert, and the highly coveted Triple-Crème.
The event will also host 12 critically acclaimed cheesemongers and chefs who will be selling their own cheesy goodness… Whether that be snacks, dishes, or products. There will also be various bars scattered throughout the festival, as well as live entertainment - so let the records show that my BODY IS READY!
